- Updates month-end close files in support of the month-end close.
- Maintains and reconciles multiple P&L’s.
- Prepares and records journal entries across multiple accounting entities.
- Prepares bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Drafts month-end reporting for both internal and external partners.
- Provides analysis of selected accounts as requested, comparing actuals to budget and/or forecast.
- Supports the annual financial audit and other audits by preparing financial schedules and assisting auditor with questions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes.
- Identify expense trends and cost reduction opportunities.
- Assists with the supervision and training of Staff Accountants.
- Support the review of payroll processing and approval of expense reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Must be highly experienced in monthly financial closings, preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Previous experience in multi-entity environment is preferable.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and highly motivated.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent team-player with desire to work as part of a close-knit team.
- Ability to use discretion in handling highly confidential information.
- Must be highly proficient in Excel.
