Summary

Country Club Apartments in Huntington, WV is looking for an experienced, customer focused Maintenance Supervisor with strong supervisory skills to join our team. This position reports to the VP of Property Maintenance. In addition to supervising the maintenance staff, you will be providing our residents with expert service for their home’s mechanical systems and appliances. You will assist with apartment renovations involving occasional painting and tiling along with other property maintenance related services. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will work closely with the Community Manager to schedule turnovers and complete daily tasks by providing expert troubleshooting and repair services to a variety of appliances, residential HVAC equipment, and plumbing. Your interaction with community residents requires a professional and friendly disposition while serving as an advocate for Manor Communities. The hourly pay rate starts at $27 or higher based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests.
• Troubleshooting and repairing residential appliances and HVAC equipment, electrical and plumbing
• Complete the renovation process of vacant apartments.
• Supervise and assign tasks to other maintenance and grounds staff.
• Schedule contractors and employees to complete maintenance work in apartments.
• Preparing accurate daily paperwork and ordering maintenance supplies.
• Responsible for being on-call for emergency maintenance service.
• Utilizing all applicable safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Properly accounting for assigned tools and parts inventory.
• Responsible for snow removal in winter and maintaining the pool in summer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• On call rotation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Supervisory Experience in Maintenance
• 5 years’ experience in Maintenance or Construction
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet the company's motor vehicle policy.
• Exceptional technical skills as well as strong communication skills
• Willingness to expand your technical and repair knowledge; obtain new licenses and commitment to professional growth.
• Ability to support our company as an advocate.
• Must be able to work independently while safely maintaining a high level of performance.
