What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Bartender position at Manor Country Club?
Beautiful Manor Country Club has part-time openings for banquet bartenders. Candidates should be self-motivated, attentive, and willing to provide excellent customer service to our members and their guests. Responsibilities include set-up and breakdown of events, serving guests at various types of events from weddings and mitzvahs to golf outings and swim meets, standard cleaning duties, alcohol and food knowledge, and service techniques.
Position Qualifications and Functional Skills -Bartenders
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Furthermore, he / she should possess the following personal and professional characteristics:
- High School Diploma
- Punctual
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English via verbal, written, and computer skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance.
- A gracious, friendly, patient and helpful attitude towards members/guests.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a very busy environment.
- Strong task and time management abilities.
- Must be well organized, have a strong work ethic and dependable.
- Tact and diplomacy for dealing with difficult situations.
- Eye for detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to foresee customer needs.
