Manor Country Club in Rockville, Maryland, is seeking Runners/Bussers to join the food & beverage team. Responsible for assisting servers and bartenders in all areas within the dining room as needed.

Position Title: Food Runner

Department: Food & Beverage Dining

Reports To: Dining Operations Manager

Summary

The primary responsibility of The Food Runner is to deliver food to tables, occasionally serve a table, reset tables in a speedy professional and effective manner as members leave the restaurant/patio. Other duties will be expected as need arises.

Position Qualifications and Functional Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Furthermore, he / she should possess the following personal and professional characteristics:

• Food & Beverage Restaurant Dining experience (Preferred).
• Punctual.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English via verbal, written, and computer skills.
• A gracious, friendly, patient and helpful attitude towards members/guests.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a very busy environment.
• Must be well organized, dependable and have a strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• The ability to work well in a team environment.

Full time and Part-time available immediately.
