What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barn Staff position at Manor Equine Hospital?
Have you always wanted to work at one of the premier equine hospitals in Maryland? Manor Equine Hospital seeks a part-time barn staff team member.
This position requires previous horse experience and scheduling flexibility. Barn staff responsibilities include cleaning and scrubbing stalls, feeding, basic grooming, loading and unloading horses, holding horses for surgery preparation and other procedures as needed, and general facility upkeep. Barn staff must demonstrate confidence handling a variety of horses including mare and foals, young stock, and stallions. Additionally, this position requires the ability to prioritize tasks and function as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
