Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with planned menus and established portion control procedures.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper storage of raw and leftover foods and adherence to Standard Precautions.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, including food storage and work areas.
- Promptly report any hazardous conditions, equipment malfunctions, accidents, or incidents to the Dining Service Director.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Able to lift, bend, move, and/or assist in moving articles of more than twenty-five pounds.
