Wellness Coordinator

Responsible for researching, developing, organizing, and maintaining exercise programs appropriate for residents age 62 years and older. Sets goals for the department and recruits residents to participate in fitness programming with a holistic approach. Acts as fitness instructor and educator for our senior population. Provides educational and motivational presentations to resident, community and employee groups. Prepares reports and newsletter articles. Must enjoy working with senior adults; communicate effectively and work with the public; organize effectively and maintain schedules. Prefer Bachelor’s degree in physical fitness or related field with knowledge of exercise and strength-building equipment. Must be able to maintain a budget and be fiscally accountable. Prefer 2 years of experience working with adults over 62 years of age.
