General Production Associate - $15.25/$15.75 hr
Our client in JACKSON,MOis seeking a General Production Associate to join their team. As a General Production Associate, you will provide various types of support throughout the plant. All jobs must be completed safely and efficiently
without causing line downtime or interruptions to normal production rates throughout a twelve-hour shift.
Job Title: General Production Associate
Location: 14484 MO-177, Jackson, MO 63755
Pay Range: $15.25-$15.75
Shift: 7am-7:30pm/7pm-7:30am 2-2-3 rotation (no swing shifts!)
What’s the Job?
- To provide various types of support throughout the plant. All jobs must be completed safely and efficiently without causing line downtime or interruptions to normal production rates throughout a twelve-hour shift.
General Requirements:
- Follow all Safe Practices.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Be able to stand for durations of 2.5-3.5 hours between breaks.
- Be able to stand and use both arms and hands while working at a rapid pace and demonstrating good hand and eye coordination.
- Employee will, on a regular basis, lift containers and product weighing up to 10 to 15 pounds.
- Employee must demonstrate a dexterity to use both left and right hands while working at a variety of workstations.
- Individual must demonstrate and maintain an acceptable work pace for extended periods of time and show the ability to pay attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities:
- Requires the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.
- Respond to various alarms and be able to understand what each alarm is.
- Stack bags of diapers on and off the line to ensure continuous production if product.
- Stacking cases of diapers onto pallets as needed, boxes weight 2-3 pounds. Requires bending and light lifting.
- Hand load trucks for overseas shipments.
- Keep the area orderly and follow 5S Standards at all times.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
- Hand pack product into individual cases.
- Assist with general sweeping and cleaning of all work areas.
- Stacking of cases at carousel following the instruction of the Team Leader.
