Our client, in the logistics industry, is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join their team. As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will be part of the operations team supporting efficient inventory management and shipping processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : Inventory Control Clerk
Location : Austin, TX
What's the Job?
Responsible for packing & shipping, including some lifting and associated paperwork.
Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Compile requests for materials for lab and stock into a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
Coordinate with management and administration to process purchase requests.
Track incoming materials to complete a Goods Receipt in SAP.
What's Needed?
1-3 years of inventory control experience.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Able to complete online data entry forms and comprehend international shipping forms.
Knowledge of shipping programs, particularly FedEx.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain an energetic, self-motivated attitude.
