What's the Job?
Design, develop, test, and implement high-quality mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and other related technologies.
Analyze existing programs and systems, identifying areas for optimization and modernization.
Perform root-cause analysis for production issues, providing timely resolutions and updates.
Integrate mainframe applications with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions.
What's Needed?
Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and other mainframe tools.
Hands-on experience with batch processing, debugging tools, and performance optimization.
Proven ability to manage and resolve production support issues effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 4 years of mainframe development experience or equivalent work experience.
