Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : Maintenance Mechanic
Location : Hudson, NY
Pay Range : $23.00-$30.00 / hr
Hours- Monday-Friday 7am-3 : 30pm
What's the Job?
Conduct troubleshooting, repair work, and preventative maintenance on all production packaging and labeling machinery.
Ensure all machinery is in operating order by detecting and locating sources of electrical and mechanical problems.
Perform preventive maintenance following operation manuals and engineering specifications.
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma; Electro-Mechanical Technical Training is a must.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with production equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Three (3) years of related experience with industrial packaging and labeling machines.
Ability to lift objects weighing 25 to 50 pounds.
Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and technical diagrams.
