Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Experis IT ManpowerGroup has partnered with a leading Medical device organization in the North Chicago, IL for a Financial Planning & Analysis manager role to assist their team. This is an on-site role.

Title : Financial Planning & Analysis manager

Pay Rate : $68-62 / hr on W2

Location : North Chicago, IL

Duration : 4 months contract with possible extension or hiring

Key Responsibilities

Utilizes a computerized financial management software system to maintain and process financial data and records

Utilizes a computerized spreadsheet program for reporting, reconciling, and analyzing data.

Reconciles general ledger balance sheet accounts and follows up on discrepancies and prepares reconciling general journal entries

Reviews and reconciles bank statements

Prepares financial reports

Researches and summarizes a variety of financial and budget information to assist accounting staff

General requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting and / or Finance. CPA preferred.

7 years of work experience in accounting function

General knowledge & understanding of accounting and GAAP.

Knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices used in financial record keeping and reporting.

Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred.

Demonstrated experience performing analytical, research and problem solving responsibilities

Advance level proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
