Job Title : Material Handler
Location : Newton, NC
Pay Rate : $18.00 per hour
Schedule :
2nd Shift : 2 : 00 PM – 10 : 00 PM
3rd Shift : 10 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM
A well-established automotive manufacturing facility is seeking Material Handlers with strong computer skills to join our 2nd and 3rd shift teams . This role involves inventory management, data entry, and operating a sit-down forklift to move materials efficiently. Key Responsibilities :
Utilize computer systems and inventory software to track, manage, and move materials.
Operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials safely and efficiently (minimal forklift use).
Ensure accurate data entry for inventory transactions, shipping, and receiving.
Maintain an organized workspace and follow all safety procedures.
Work closely with production teams to ensure materials are delivered on time.
Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control processes.
Requirements :
Strong computer skills and experience with inventory tracking systems.
Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse setting preferred.
Sit-down forklift experience required (minimal forklift use).
Must have a clean background (pre-employment screening required).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills.
