As a Materials Manager, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Logistics Team. Location : Conway, Arkansas
Pay Range : $100,000 - $120,000
What's the Job?
Ensure optimum internal / external customer service by managing inventory control, shipping & receiving, and distribution.
Promote and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with Company Health & Safety Policies.
Supervise shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material control functions.
Manage inventory levels to meet company objectives and ensure accuracy of perpetual inventory records.
Provide training and motivation to team leaders and subordinates to maintain an efficient department.
What's Needed?
High School diploma required; Post-Secondary Education in Purchasing, MRP & Materials Management desired.
5 years of experience in Materials Management.
3 years of experience in Purchasing / Buying.
Knowledge of MRP (SAP) is essential.
Experience in the steel and automotive industries is an asset.
