Join Our Team as an Operator II - PIV Forklift Operator!
Location : Hattiesburg, MS
Schedule : Monday - Thursday, 6 : 30 AM - 4 : 30 PM; Friday 6 : 30-3 : 30PM w / some scheduled Saturdays (A single need for 3 : 00PM-11 : 30PM - 2nd shift.)
Pay Rate : $16.00 an hour
Are you skilled in operating material handling equipment and looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Operator II - PIV Forklift Operator to ensure the smooth flow of materials on our production floor.
Key Responsibilities :
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials, including engines, steel pallets, and purchased items.
Verify part numbers and quantities for incoming and outgoing materials.
Replenish production items to the assembly and machining operations throughout the shift, following FIFO policies.
Understand and utilize the Bill of Material (BOM) and key sheets for assembly line changeovers.
Use hand-held scanners to track engine movements.
Process and dispose of scrap material as authorized.
Perform daily checklists for PIV equipment, scales, and scanners.
Replace forklift batteries as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements :
Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Ability to verify part numbers and quantities accurately.
Familiarity with BOM and key sheets.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
