Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Product Design Verification Stability Engineer to join their team. As a Product Design Verification Stability Engineer, you will be part of the Software Engineering Department supporting innovative product development. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for quality assurance which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : Product Design Verification Stability Engineer
Location : San Antonio, TX
Pay Range : $20-$30 per hour on W-2 depending upon experience
What's the Job?
Develop V&V software test project plans including regression planning and testing of software during the development process.
Develop V&V software test procedures using current industry standards (e.g. ISO, IEEE, CMMI).
Effectively manage test project schedules by communicating project workload, executing planned activities, and coordinating with the larger project team.
Generate test guidelines for the software team, Quality, and Engineering groups for testing software during development.
Develop and implement automated test procedures to streamline testing processes, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.
What's Needed?
A STEM Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
Four years of academic or work experience in Software Quality Engineering and / or Software Test Methodologies.
Experience in technical writing such as engineering plans, test methods, protocols, and reports.
Proficiency with MS Office business software – Word, Excel, Project.
Experience with benchtop test equipment such as Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Power supply, Flowmeter, and Manometer.
