Manufacturing Company seeking a Buyer / Administrative Assistant

Location : Largo, FL 33773

Schedule : M-F, 8am-5pm

Pay Rate : $20.00 / hr

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Buyer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, communicating with the manufacturing team, obtaining quotes, and maintaining relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the manufacturing team to understand material requirements and production schedules.

Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production deadlines.

Address any issues related to material quality or delivery delays.

Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and prices.

Place purchase orders and track their status to ensure timely delivery.

Assist in managing inventory to avoid shortages or excess stock.

Essential Skills

2 years of experience as a Buyer / Procurement Associate

Associates Degree in Business Major

Proficiency with Access and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Attention to detail and ability to analyze data.

Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.

Ability to manage purchase orders efficiently.

Administrative Assistance experience is is Plus
