Our client, a leading distribution center, is seeking a Reach Truck Operator to join their team. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be part of the warehouse team supporting efficient operations.
Job Title : Reach Truck Operator
Location : Plainfield, IN
Pay Range : $17.50 - $18.75 per hour (1st and 2nd shift available)
What's the Job?
Load and off-load inbound and outbound shipments utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Report discrepancies between the inventory count and shipping / receiving documents.
Ensure every effort is made to load / off-load pallets in a manner that promotes safety and prevents damage.
Locate and retrieve products as well as replenish picking locations.
Assist in other warehouse positions as required and act as backup during absences.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED preferred, or 1 year of relevant experience in lieu of diploma.
Experience with multiple types of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as Order Pickers and Reach Trucks preferred.
Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
Basic analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Proficient in the use of a PC and able to read and interpret distribution documents.
