Our client, a leader in innovative building solutions, is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Power Electronics Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department, supporting the Power Electronics Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : Senior Power Electronics Engineer
Location : New Freedom, PA
Pay Range : $ 65-70 / hr (W2 Contract)
What’s the Job?
Power Conversion Design : Lead the design and testing of AC-DC and DC-AC conversion systems.
Motor Control Development : Develop and test motor control systems for various applications.
System Simulation and Modeling : Utilize MATLAB / Simulink for system modeling, simulation, and verification.
Prototype Testing : Conduct prototype testing on hardware-in-the-loop systems and variable speed drives to verify control performance.
Quality Compliance : Ensure compliance with quality policies, procedures, and instructions during the development and testing phases.
What’s Needed?
Educational Background : BS with 10 years of experience or MS with 5 years of experience in Power Electronics.
Technical Expertise : Proficiency in AC-DC and DC-AC conversion, motor control design, and testing.
Simulation Skills : Experience with MATLAB / Simulink for system modeling and verification.
Testing Proficiency : Ability to conduct hands-on testing, including setup and use of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and DMMs.
Communication Skills : Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
