Our client, a leader in sustainable engineered materials, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join their team. As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you will be part of the logistics department supporting efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : Shipping & Receiving Associate Contract
Location : Niagara Falls, NY
Pay Range : Based on skill and experience ($18-$20)
What's the Job?
Perform tasks in connection with shipping goods and receiving incoming shipments.
Verify orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities against provided documentation.
Ensure shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles.
Inspect received goods for basic description, dimensions, and damage.
Prepare and maintain records of product shipped and received.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
3-5 years experience working in Shipping / Receiving areas preferred.
Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
Willingness to work any shift (1st, 2nd) and weekends when needed.
