As a Shipping Specialist, you will be part of the shipping department supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
Job Title : Shipping Specialist
Location : Near KCI Airport
Pay Range : $20 / hr
What's the Job?
Schedule transportation for outgoing shipments and coordinate with the team to prioritize all outgoing orders.
Examine shipment contents and compare with records (manifests, packing slips, invoices) to verify accuracy.
Collaborate and communicate with 3PL partners to facilitate order processing.
Check and input freight invoices into the ERP system.
Monitor and ensure on-time delivery of shipments; manage overdue postings and new order requests.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
