Our client, a leading financial firm, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Operations Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : Site Reliability Engineer
Location : Wilmington, DE
Onsite 5 days per week
due to client rules, we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontracting companies; all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly)
Pay Range : Target pay is 65-68 / hr W2 but open for discussion
Strong potential of a Contract to Hire opportunity of 120-130k base salary
What's the Job?
Manage and maintain AWS services to ensure high availability and performance.
Develop and implement solutions using Big Data technologies such as Spark, Python, and SQL.
Provide weekend support as necessary to ensure system reliability.
Utilize scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys to streamline operations.
Monitor system performance using tools like Grafana and Dynatrace.
What's Needed?
At least 5 years of experience with AWS, Big Data technologies, Spark, and SQL.
2-3 years of experience in Shell scripting.
Hands-on experience with monitoring and scheduling tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Spark, Shell, Perl, or Java.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
