Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Software Test Engineer II to join their team. As a Software Test Engineer II, you will be part of the Quality Engineering department supporting a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of product quality. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : Software Test Engineer II
Location : Waltham, MA
Pay Range : $ 41 - 44.87 / hr
What's the Job?
Design, develop and execute test cases to ensure the quality of the product by proving system functionality and verifying business and user requirements in the Electrophysiology domain.
Conduct manual execution of tests or execute automated test scripts as required.
Document test results and write formal test reports to be included in regulatory submissions.
Diagnose problems and report bugs and enhancements in a bug tracking system.
Participate in daily scrum meetings and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software development and hardware engineering.
What's Needed?
BS in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience as a software test engineer or in a related field.
Prior experience in the Electrophysiology clinical environment is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Python is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills along with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
