Our client, a leader in energy technology, is seeking a Procurement Specialist 3 to join their team. As a Procurement Specialist 3, you will be part of the Gas Services division supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a solid understanding of contract management which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : Procurement Specialist 3
Location : Houston, TX
Pay Range : $52.00 per hour
What's the Job?
Perform complex buying strategies to purchase and arrange timely deliveries of supplies and materials.
Lead sourcing activities and negotiations for medium / high value aerospace and industrial components.
Resolve complex delivery, quality, or other related problems with purchases and invoices.
Update project plans and purchasing systems; review and analyze requisitions and supply plans.
Negotiate prices, terms, and quality requirements while preparing requests for quotes.
What's Needed?
Bachelor’s degree or related work experience (8 years) required.
8 years of experience in strategic sourcing / commodity management.
Excellent commercial, contractual, and project management acumen.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong Excel skills and experience in continuous improvement methodologies including Lean & 6 Sigma.
