Our client is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the Toxicology unit supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully with the organization.
Job Title : Warehouse Associate
Location : Portsmouth, VA
Pay Range : $16 per hour
What's the Job?
Perform warehouse operations including counting, sorting, and recording large, heavy-weight stock.
Operate forklifts and assist with packaging and labeling customer orders.
Inspect incoming products and verify against shipping manifests for accuracy.
Pick and pack orders while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and perform physical tasks, including standing and crouching for extended periods.
2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand written procedures.
Reliable transportation and availability for occasional overtime.
