Our client, a leading player in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator / Equipment Operator to join their team. As an Equipment Operator you will be part of the operations department supporting the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork, which will align successfully with the organization.
Job Title: Equipment Operator / Forklift Operator
Location: Coxsackie, NY
Pay Range: $22.50 per hour
Shift: Sunday-Thursday- 10:00pm-6:30am- 3rd Shift
What's the Job?
- Accurately and safely pick product quantities or store product in assigned locations.
- Assemble containers and maintain supplies in an organized manner.
- Perform daily transactional tasks using a Labor Management System.
- Effectively communicate with coworkers and display teamwork in completing task assignments.
- Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times.
What's Needed?
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime hours in addition to regular shift hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently without assistance.
- Material handling equipment experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Post-offer background check & drug screen are required.
