Position Summary :
The Organizational Development Manager helps company meet our Mission and organizational goals through designing and leading effective talent management processes and creating an engaging employee experience-based approach to build the capabilities of the workforce, and leads internal communications for the HR Team.
Essential Functions of the Job :
- Leads the strategy, development, and scaling of company’s talent management and engagement strategies by identifying, recommending, and implementing processes, programs and improvements in alignment with company’s goals.
- Leads employee engagement initiatives for the organization including the Employee Engagement Survey planning, vendor management, communications, and action planning.
- Leads the Talent Management strategy and processes including Performance Review and Goal Planning timeline, communications, and follow up reporting. Partners with HRIS on testing and readiness of system configurations to support talent management processes.
- Leads internal communications for the HR team. Oversees consistency of format, branding, and voice for all internal HR Communications. Partners with HR Leadership Team on planning timing of internal communications. Champions proactive, planned communications across the HR Team.
- Leads the design and management of the Organizational Development team’s performance metrics and dashboard, monitors and manages reporting.
- Consolidates and reports on talent program activities (i.e., succession management, talent mobility, career pathing) for business leaders; presents ideas, business insight, and implementation approaches to HR leadership and business partners to increase the visibility of programs.
- Acts as a thought partner to HR Leadership and HR Business Partners to lead efforts for programs that create and sustain career pathing so employees can grow, develop and move across the organization. Leverages internal mobility as a resource to continuously create new opportunities for employees to gain exposure, capabilities, and maximize the employee experience.
- Collaborates with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and HR Business Partners to understand & assess development needs, skills gaps, design and implement development paths that build workforce capabilities for company.
- Partners in the development and delivery of internal training to on topics related to talent development.
