What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Coordinator position at Manpower - South Florida?
The Health Center Coordinator supports the administrative and clinical functions of the building through support maintenance of clinical records, oversight of master schedule and support of the admissions department and other administrative functions of the building. This includes but is not limited to assisting with scheduling appointments and transportation, overseeing master schedule, providing support to inventory control, billing for resident supplies, audits of and maintenance of resident charts, closing charts, verifying insurances and inputting resident information into the electronic medical record (EMR).
Essential Job Functions :
During emergencies or natural disasters, employee may be required to report for duty as assigned by the administrator or his / her designee for the duration of the disaster.
Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
Examines all paperwork in the clinical record, completing necessary notation of chart number in cooperation with the Medical Records Consultant.
Logs in all doctors' discharge summaries and mails same to specified doctor.
Binds chart in folder after obtaining all necessary completed forms according to facility's policies and procedures.
Keeps all completed discharged charts in alphabetical order in files.
Receives returned doctor's discharge summary, and files discharge summary in resident's chart.
Checks discharge list and reconciles files.
Provides support to inventory specialist in maintaining adequate inventory supply and stocking of supply deliveries.
Maintains resident charges in the format established by the facility. Process resident charges at month-end.
Maintains the master schedule for the clinical staff and assists with daily fill in and de-staffing needs.
Provides support to admission department by verifying insurances, inputting new admissions into EMR, and acting as back up in absence of Resident Services Coordinator
Assists in scheduling follow-up appointments and / or transportation for residents, as needed.
Covers front desk for lunch breaks.
