Our client, a leading provider in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Contract Patient Services Representative - Oral Surgery to join their team. As a Patient Services Representative, you will be part of the patient services department supporting the dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

- What's the Job?
- Provide the first level of customer service to patients of the dental clinic, from greeting and routing patients to record maintenance and cashier duties.
- Monitor daily clinic operations within guidelines and assign and review work of student and / or casual employees engaged in routine tasks.
- Maintain student and patient appointment books and triage emergencies as they arise.
- Schedule follow-up examinations and ensure proper processing of health-related transactions, including calculating payments.
- Update and maintain files and records while providing suggestions that improve existing policies and procedures.

- Experience in a patient services or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
