What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at ManpowerGroup?
Our client, a large manufacturer located in Bay Minette, AL is seeking a Multicraft Maintenance Technician to join the team. As a Multicraft Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, emergency /breakdowns maintenance as well as following all safety rules, policies and practices. The ideal candidate will have tenure, industry experience and a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Pay Rate Range: $27hr-$38hr
Shift: 12 hr. 2-2-3 , 2 week rotating shift. 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am start times.
What’s the Job?
- Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components and observing operations to determine proper functions
- Performing emergency/breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
- Exchanging motors, gearboxes, sheaves, sprockets, belts, chains, etc. with proper alignment upon assembly
- Troubleshooting AC and DC drive systems to determine cause of faults or failures
- Troubleshoot hydraulic systems controlled by switches or PLC’s
- Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems controlled by switches or PLC’s
What’s Needed?
- 3-5 years of experience in a Multicraft Maintenance Technician capacity within a production/ manufacturing environment
- General Millwright experience (preferred)
