General Office Clerk Position
We are seeking a General Office Clerk to serve as the primary point of contact for outside visitors, vendors, and job applicants.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate party.
- Greet outside visitors professionally.
- Sign for incoming and outgoing packages.
- Perform filing, typing, and other administrative tasks as requested.
- Assist various departments with mass mailings.
- Receive and route faxes.
- Schedule conference rooms and order catering as needed.
- Learn new features and functionalities of office equipment due to changing technology.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a professional office environment.
- Proficiency using various office equipment.
- Ability to perform routine and non-routine functions of all office equipment and systems.
- Excellent customer service, professional attitude, and appearance are essential.
- Ability to work overtime and meet deadlines.
Physical Demands:
- Physical activity including bending, reaching, and prolonged sitting.
- Lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds may be required.
