We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Office Manager/Financial Administrator. In your capacity you will work closely with the President and Vice President to create and analyze financial reports, manage all aspect of logistics, ensure legal requirements and compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments.

Our ideal candidate will have been successful in similar roles and is proficient with Microsoft office (or other ERPs), Microsoft Excel, and accounting software (ideally Business Works).


Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial reports through the collection, analysis, and summarization of data.
  • Assist in producing and submitting bids.
  • Manage all aspects of logistics from order through delivery.
  • Partner with other team members to provide seamless and exceptional service.
  • Perform all activities related to accounts payable function, including reviewing, coding, and processing payments.
  • Perform all activities related to account receivable function, including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process.
  • Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g., by assets, liabilities, and expenses) under the direction of the head of accounting.
  • Reconcile bank statements.
  • Manage all administrative aspects of running an effective business office including data management.



Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or related field.
  • Prior experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of the team.
  • Demonstrated experience being a self-starter, including being comfortable working independently.
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible to the changing priorities, as well as the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Must have proven organizational skills to effectively manage all aspects of the role.
  • Results oriented mentality to ensure a commitment to completing work on time and accurately.
  • Ability to anticipate needs of the owners, customers, and suppliers, and take the initiative to meet those needs.
  • Must have demonstrated integrity and trust worthiness to manage family business and personal family finances.
  • Must have the necessary professionalism and maturity to conduct oneself appropriately as the business/family representative.
  • Strong math skills to be able to compute and analyze accurately.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft office and Microsoft Excel---and accounting or ERP system.
  • Available to work full time in Mequon, WI (M-Fri 8am-5pm)
  • A background check and Non-Disclosure Agreement will be required.


  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2- or 4-year degree in accounting or similar
  • Prior experience in a family business
  • Business Works software experience
  • Tech Savvy
