WHAT YOU’LL DO
As our Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient operations of equipment, facilities, and systems. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems, and building structures.
THE NITTY GRITTY
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve problems efficiently
- Maintain record of maintenance activities, parts used, and repair completed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations
- Order supplies and maintain inventory of maintenance tools and equipment
- Perform general facility upkeep such as painting, carpentry, and cleaning as needed
WHAT YOU NEED
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification is preferred.
- 2 years of experience in maintenance or facilities role
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics
- Familiarity with safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong verbal and written communication skills: ability to communicate with a wide variety of people

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a warehouse setting with exposure to noise, dust, machinery, and equipment including but not limited to table saws and panel saws.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is a physically demanding job. This role requires the ability to lift up to 75-100lbs.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm with schedule flexibility.
