Job Description:
MANSCo is a leading construction company specializing in civil construction projects. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Estimator/Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our construction projects, ensuring their successful completion within budget and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
1. Estimate, Budget, Plan, Organize, and manage all phases of civil construction projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
2. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project objectives, plans, budgets, and schedules.
3. Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders, to ensure effective coordination and collaboration.
4. Monitor project progress, track expenses, and prepare regular progress reports for senior management and clients.
5. Conduct regular site visits to inspect construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
6. Manage project risks and issues, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
7. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project team members, clients, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, resolving issues, and addressing concerns.
8. Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, cost control, and change order management.
9. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, permits, and codes throughout the project lifecycle.
10. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the project team.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, related field or equivalent experience .
2. Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Project Manager in civil construction projects.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
4. Proficient in project management software and tools, with the ability to create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
8. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
9. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
10. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
