What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator position at Mansfield Orthodontics?

Look no further- we are seeking a WORLD CLASS TREATMENT COORDINATOR.
Our private, one doctor practice is state-of-the-art, has a strong community presence, and demonstrates a heart of service by working with several non profits and local small businesses throughout the year. We are seeking a candidate to join our growing team who desires to do great work, with little supervision, and takes pride in initiating learning, has creative problem solving skills, and believes quality experience for our patients while they are on the smile journey is paramount.
How do you know if this job is for you? A treatment coordinator's main responsibilities include the following:
- Clearly explain orthodontic treatment, case fees and options to help patients accept care that is recommended
- Handle objections to treatment and get creative to find best financial option for the patient
- Is a highly proficient liaison and between the doctor, patient and referring dental offices
- Completing photographs, taking 3D iTero scans, and dental x-rays
- Meeting monthly and quarterly case acceptance and completion ratios
- Maintains appropriate A/R ratio and works with insurance and billing parties in a accurate and timely manner
Ideal candidates have at least one of the following experience:
- Orthodontic or dental front office experience, knowledgeable in ADA insurance codes, submission and eligibility
- Orthodontic/dental assisting experience who is looking to move into an administrate leadership role
(PLUS)
- Must be efficient with a computer- Using Word, Excel, Google Sheets
- Feels comfortable working with insurances
- Dental Xray Certification or willing to obtain Xray certification
