- Competitive base compensation based on experience plus 30% commission

- This position will require travel, up to 30%, specifically in the NE United States
Education and Experience Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent technical experience
- 4-6 years field sales experience in related product lines
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain key accounts within region
- Establish sales quotas for all sales agencies
- Travel periodically with sales agencies calling on key accounts
- Organize and conduct meetings with and for sales representatives
- Maintain and propose action on information obtained concerning market demand, territory sales trends, and field product problems.
- Continually promote the full product line with sales representatives and promotions
- Maintain close liaison with sales and marketing team and design and implement sales strategies to achieve goals for growth and revenue
- Provide guidance and training to manufacturer representatives on achieving sales performance targets
- Develop and administer product knowledge training, presentations, speaking engagements, etc. as well as represent the company corporate at trade shows and other events.
- Generate and direct the generation of reports, presentations or other materials as needed.
- Maintain active program for collecting, organizing, and presenting to sales representatives, all possible information on competitors.
- Gather, assemble, forecast, and disseminate information on market potentials, product applications, and competitive actions.
- Review and recommend revisions to the product line in response to effective customer demand.
- Analyze changing trends and patterns of distribution within a region.
- Prepare monthly forecasts by region and by product group.
- Help plan regional promotional programs through the marketing department.
- Prepare key or target account analysis for growth plans.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local and regional trade and building associations.
- Prepare and manage regional and representative agency business plans to achieve acceptable volume and profit margins.
- Maintain a sales organization designed to meet company goals and objectives.
- Recommend the number of territories and manning needs required to reach goals.
