Qualifications:
- Ability to read and write
- Good physical health and ability to perform assigned duties
- Knowledge of bus passenger safety and effective discipline procedures
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S citizenship or legal resident
Reports To:
School Business Administrator/Board Secretary
Job Description:
- Assist the bus driver in maintaining student conduct on the bus.
- Assist young students in getting on and off the bus.
- Provide written records of violations of student code to the building principal.
- Provide instruction to students regarding passenger safety and ensure that students wear their seat belts when the bus is so equipped.
- Participate in scheduled emergency bus exit drills.
- Check to be sure that all students have been dropped off, and no passengers remain on the bus at the end of the bus route.
- Assist the bus driver in keeping the bus clean
Terms of Employment:
Position to begin: Thursday, April 10, 2025
10 Months; Part Time; Approximately 1-½ hour for both the AM and PM bus runs
Rate of Pay:
$16.15 per hour;
All rates of pay are based upon the current Collective Bargaining Agreement
