What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Technician II position at Manson-Dixon Line, LLC?
Receives direction and supervision from engineers and senior engineering technicians for assigned efforts that apply engineering and technical techniques, principles and precedents, and leads efforts to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, and operate electrical, electronic, mechanical, communications, or related data processing systems, associated with electronic equipment, C5ISR systems, or facilities. Maintains, repairs, inspects, troubleshoots, and programs systems equipment or components. Reviews, analyzes, develops, prepares and applies engineering, technical and maintenance specifications, policies, standards and procedures. Organizes, analyzes and prepares reports and presentations of technical data and information. Plans and performs tests and evaluations of systems and/or system components. Compiles, processes, reduces, and analyzes test data and results.
Education: AS or AA degree in an engineering or electronics discipline
- OR -
High School diploma or GED, plus applicable US Military “B” or “C” school or equivalent as identified in the definition for Technical Rating
Experience: Four years of experience in electronic repair, maintenance, design, and installation, which includes at least two years involved in the systems engineering of C5ISR systems.
