Manson Northwest Webster is seeking a highly qualified and positive thinking person, with strong collaboration skills to be an Elementary Special Education Instructor. Qualifications should include:
- Iowa teaching license required
- Instructional Strategist I required, Strategist II preferred
- Knowledge and skill with research based teaching techniques
- Elementary Special Education teaching experience and experience with web IEP preferred
- Ability to remain calm and help students control their behavioral challenges via positive interactions while accelerating students' academic skills
- Strong collaborating skills and enjoys working with others
- Good organization skills and time management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collect and analyze student data (academic/behavior)
- Ability to make data-driven decisions to improve student achievement and success
- Solid foundation in research-based instructional strategies
- Knowledge base in Functional Behavior Analysis and Behavior Intervention Plans preferred
- Experience with inclusion and the co-teaching model
- Experience with MTSS model
