Job Overview
Manta Swim Academy is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Administrative & Aquatics Assistant to support both the Aquatics Director and general office operations. This unique hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys both administrative work and being involved in a fun, purpose-driven swim school environment.
We’re a growing small business with a focus on survival swim instruction, and we’re looking for someone who’s excited to grow with us, loves working with families and children, and is eager to learn new tools and skills along the way.
This role will begin in-person, with the potential for a hybrid schedule after training is successfully completed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide office support: greet visitors and answer phone calls professionally
- Provide deck support to help ensure smooth transitions and assist swim staff
- Respond to enrollment emails and inquiries with excellent customer service
- Create and manage class schedules using iClassPro
- Manage calendars, schedule staff meetings, and assist with coordination tasks
- Support with Canva projects for flyers, social media, and internal communication
- Perform basic office management tasks including filing, organizing documents, and inventory tracking
- Update and create Excel spreadsheets to help track schedules, data, or other key information
- Proofread documents and communication materials for clarity and accuracy
- Train and assist as a Deck Monitor and Swim Instructor when needed
- Collaborate with team members to streamline operations and improve efficiency
- Other duties as assigned to support the needs of the business
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong email etiquette and phone presence
- Friendly, professional, and dependable with a team-oriented attitude
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Experience in customer service or administrative roles is preferred
- Familiarity with iClassPro, QuickBooks, Excel, or Canva is a plus—but not required (training provided)
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software and systems
- Comfortable working around children and in a swim school environment
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule
- 5-hour shifts
