Submit the documents listed below to your on-line EDJOIN application. Please DO NOT mail, email or fax documentation to our office as it will not be viewed for our on-line screening process. The following documents are REQUIRED to be submitted with your online application:
- Letter of Interest
- Resume
- Preliminary/Clear Multiple Subject Credential*
- Unofficial Transcripts (Required: all colleges/universities attended)
- EL Authorization (must provide proof if it is not embedded in California Credential)
- Two (2) current Letter of Recommendation (within the last 12 months)**
- CBEST (optional) *Credential Copy (Must show Subject Description, Expiration Date and EL Authorization) **Letters should be from current or former Principal, Assistant Principal, Department Chair, or Program Director. If you have not taught in California (new to the profession), please include a letter from your university program supervisor, master teacher, or practicum supervisor.
Computers and scanners are available for applicant use in our office at 2271 W. Louise Ave., Manteca. PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT (At Employee Cost if Hired) - TB Clearance - Fingerprinting MUSD offers In-House Teacher Induction Program at no cost. MUSD accepts up to twenty-one (21) years of full-time school years. There may be an out-of-pocket expense depending on the Medical plan. *To obtain a copy of your credential: Commission on Teacher Credentialing link listed below - At secured search enter birthdate and social security number. All documents and credentials will be listed.
