Must hold a clear multiple subject credential or a clear single subject teaching credential. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
- Bachelor degree from an accredited university.
- Possession of a valid California teaching credential.
- English Learner certification. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience as a teacher in a public-school setting for at least 3 years. DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
- Voluntary or paid leadership experience.
- Experience in conducting professional development for educators.
- Experience in planning, implementing and / or managing educational programs.

- Two (2) professional letters of recommendation** **Letters should be from current or former Principal, Assistant Principal, Department Chair, or Program Director. If you have not taught in California (new to the profession), please include a letter from your university program supervisor, master teacher, or practicum supervisor.
- Facilitates and leads the COST (Coordination of Services Team) to provide interventions for students to help redirect behavior, and improve academics, and attendance.
- Assists with the implementation of student behavior support plans to redirect inappropriate behavior and target positive behaviors.
- Supports teachers by providing interventions for teachers to use during the 90-block period, as part of Tier 1.
- Assists the school administration with all aspects of intervention programs as assigned by supporting implementing, coaching, and modeling strategies for teachers.
- Works in partnership and supports parents to address student needs, including providing workshops and conducting home visits.
- Provides support in implementing programs and curriculum that targets student’s social emotional learning.
- Accurately maintains appropriate intervention and program data to assists the site administration in progress monitoring for the Strategic Plan and identifying needs of the school site.
- Keeps current in education and grows as a professional educator through classes, workshops, and conferences for professional development in specific areas of student intervention programs.
- Attends and participates in site and district staff meetings, various advisory councils, committees, in-services, and workshops.
- Maintains privacy and confidentiality relating to all students, teachers, and staff regarding school related issues.
- Adheres to and promotes the school and district mission and vision. Supports and abides by school and district policies and procedures.
