ManTech is seeking a motivated, career-oriented, customer-oriented Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst to join our Solana Beach, CA team. This is an onsite position.
Job Summary :
This position offers the opportunity to apply GIS expertise to a diverse range of projects, from supporting USMC range training and safety to contributing to US Navy environmental analysis and NEPA compliance documents. The candidate must be able to multi-task effectively to accommodate various simultaneous and diverse efforts for both the US Navy and USMC. Tasks may include environmental analysis mapping and data support, regional mapping, developing / maintaining web maps, and publishing data to the ArcGIS Portal.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Develop maps for planning and environmental documents.
- Apply knowledge of cartographic and GIS data standards in project execution.
- Interpret military operations (MilOps) terminology and apply it to geospatial mapping and analysis.
- Utilize Spatial Data Standards for Facilities Infrastructure and Environment (SDSFIE).
- Use Range Manager's Tool Kit (RMTK) for surface and weapons danger zone (SDZ / WDZ) development / mapping.
- Collaborate with both independent and team-based work in a high-production environment.

The projected compensation range for this position is $63,700.00-$105,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary / hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
