ManTech is seeking a Graphics Artist to support our Marine Corps Intelligence Activity contract on MCB Quantico.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Create, collaborate, and advise on a range routine-to-complex graphics, publication design and layout, infographics, forms, briefs, illustrations, posters, logos, photography, videos, and websites
- Develop original content that clearly presents complex subject matter to various audiences
- Create forms using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat
- Able to successfully communicate, while maintaining high levels of professionalism to all possible clients to include peer contractors, military, and leadership
- Use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to create and edit visual materials while following graphic design principles and elements, to include but not limited to, alignment, hierarchy, contrast, repetition, proximity, balance, color, negative space, line, shape, form, texture, space, imagery, typography, and color
- Create routine-to-complex visuals, including charts, graphs, timelines, infographics, briefs, illustrations, publication design, cover design, brochures, posters, logos, etc.
- Design and illustrate abstract ideas and concepts
- Graphically depict intelligence-related subject matters
- Produce products which express complex ideas clearly and effectively
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a clear understanding of graphic design principles
- Examine how designs are viewed by their customer to ensure messages are communicated clearly and accurately
- Create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing
- Maintains contact with the customer about project progress and deadlines
- Review products for quality control
- Other duties as required
