ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Participate as a security engineer representative on teams for the design, development, implementation and / or integration of secure networking, computing, implementation and / or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system components and enclave environments
- Develop and maintain system security certification and accreditation services for our Information Technology (IT) systems in accordance with contractual requirements
- Advise on vulnerability management, conduct robust scanning practices, and implement mitigations, review and evaluate complex customer security issues and implement corrective actions as needed
- Interface with customers and vendors to resolve security problems and provide information on containment or resolution, ensure issues and vulnerabilities have been properly identified and solutions will satisfy the customer's requirements
- Provide oversight and guidance on design, development, and continuous monitoring best practices for information systems
- Apply knowledge of Information Assurance policies, procedures, and workforce structures to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments
- Interact with the Intelligence Community (IC) customers and project team members to support the enforcement of secure designs of systems and architectures, support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management using the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Identify overall security requirements for the proper handling and protection of government data, ensure security controls are adequately maintained, and system users adhere to policies

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,300.00-$125,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary / hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
