ManTech's Mission Intelligence Division is looking for a Junior Scrum Master / Product Owner Intern to join our team for the summer of 2025.
This opportunity will support the development of a proof of concept cloud based software solution. The successful candidate will serve as a scrum master / product owner for a multi-disciplined agile software development team.
The ideal candidate will be motivated and engaged on the project and able to work collaboratively with the team to identify and prioritize requirements that deliver the most business value. Work will be performed onsite at the ManTech Herndon office with occasional opportunities for remote work.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Lead agile ceremonies to include daily stand up, backlog grooming, demos, retrospectives, and other activities as required
- Facilitates processes, escalates impediments, manages risk, promotes architectural strength, and helps to drive continuous improvement at the team level
- Define program capabilities, features, and requirements and track them through to delivery
- Support the development team to efficiently reach project goals
- Manage and coordinate risks / dependencies and organize the team artifacts
- Promotes adherence to Agile software development best practices
- Other duties as assigned
