Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Administration Engineer in South Burlington, VT; Camp Springs, MD; or in a location to be determined upon offer acceptance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Support network automation processes and procedures for automating configuration, management, testing, deployment, and operational support for virtual and physical devices on the network.
- Automate manual tasks and functions through scripted solutions to increase stability and decrease time to delivery.
- Establishes and maintains network performance.
- Builds net configurations and connections.
- Troubleshoots network problems.
- IP address auditing.
- Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration and directing system installation.
- Defines, documents, and enforces system standards.
- Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades.
- Apply all security checks for scanning, enforce microservices container images against Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) and NIST requirements, and deploy to cloud, hybrid, and on-premises via Ansible Playbooks.
- Apply CI / CD strategies to plan, code, build, test, release, deploy, operate, and monitor our network solutions.
- Troubleshooting Network security incidents
- Install, configure and support network and firewall infrastructure within the enterprise
- Develop requirements for firewall rule implementation including source and destination IPs, Ports, Transport Protocol
- Works with an experienced team of network engineers in performing vulnerability and fault analysis on enterprise perimeter devices, and developing and implementing system remediation and recovery plans
- Reduce cycle times and remove manual tasks through automation scripts and machine learning.

- Use MS Teams in a majority of daily collaboration to work with disparate team members
Minimum Qualifications :
Cisco Catalyst, Nexus and Meraki engineering / architecture
VMWare NSX
Cloud infrastructure engineering : AWS, Azure, Google
Virtualization experience with VMware and HyperV
MS Office strong proficiency : Word, Excel, Visio
Splunk
Solarwinds
WireShark
AlgoSec
Scripting / Programming languages (ie. Python, Perl, Powershell)
Automation pipeline (ie. Ansible, Github, Jenkins)

Physical Requirements :
The projected compensation range for this position is $96,100.00-$159,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary / hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
