ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Writer to join our team in Herndon, Virginia . Support a team of world class software engineers who have significant impact on our national security and protect the most coveted target in the world.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Gather information from end users and work with software developers to answer user questions and to solve user issues.
- Obtain technical data from independent observation, research, review with technical staff members, and studies of published materials and existing documentation.
- Work with subject matter experts (SMEs), analysts, programmers, and other technical staff to obtain relevant information on technologies, methods, and standards of software, applications and systems.
- Interface with a diverse group of end users to understand and resolve user issues with the system.
- Document and track user issue resolution in ticketing system and leverage this data to develop FAQs and other knowledge management materials.
- Create, edit, and manage material prepared by other writers.
- Perform quality assurance on all materials.
