Capture Executive - Intelligence Community - Security Clearance Required

ManTech is seeking a proactive, motivated, customer-oriented Capture Executive to join our team in Herndon, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD.

ManTech is seeking a seasoned Capture Executive that understands the full capture lifecycle and has been successful in various customer domains within the Intelligence Community . In-depth expertise, strong relationships, and direct access to key organizations is essential.

Reporting to the Vice President of Growth, this highly visible position will be responsible for creating and executing winning capture strategies for sector and corporate “must-win” opportunities. They will work closely with the appropriate ManTech business programs and leaders to provide strategic direction and leadership; develop comprehensive and compelling solutions; support qualification of new business opportunities; develop creative and innovative capture strategies; and lead the preparation of winning proposals for our government clients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Perform market analysis, strategic business planning, and capture strategy / solution development, leading to award of major programs

Oversee customer contact and positioning, teaming interactions, and coordination with other internal business development, solution architecture and sales resources available across ManTech

Drive customer relationship management and opportunity tracking, spanning a variety of contract types including cost plus fixed fee, fixed price, award fee, and performance-based contracting

Understand market trends and translate customer and competitive intelligence into compelling capture strategies and solutions.

Leverage deep understanding of customer’s needs and objectives in the areas of Enterprise IT; Systems Engineering and Software Development; Managed Services; Data Center, Cloud and Cloud Migration; IT Infrastructure; Data Transport and Systems Integration; Application Development and Modernization; Big Data and Data Analytics; Cyber Threats, Cyber Security and Advanced Technologies

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience in Capture and Business Development. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, particularly with military service and / or other government service

Prior sales / business development / capture experience and a track record of winning opportunities with Intelligence Community customers

Proven success in capturing and winning new business opportunities valued >

Demonstrated ability to lead / execute disciplined capture efforts for large and / or complex captures focused on Enterprise IT; Systems Engineering and Software Development; Managed Services; Data Center, Cloud and Cloud Migration; IT Infrastructure; Data Transport and Systems Integration; Application Development and Modernization; Big Data and Data Analytics; Cyber Threats, Cyber Security and Advanced Technologies

Organized, aggressive, creative, competitive, and highly skilled with proven success selling in highly competitive systems engineering and professional service U.S. Federal markets

Prior experience with the Shipley Business Acquisition Process

Ability to drive / follow the Capture Process from Opportunity Positioning and Qualification through Proposal Development and Opportunity Closing

Security Clearance Requirements :

Must have a current / active Top Secret / SCI

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.

Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates; briefings; or interface with co-workers; leadership as well as customer.

Must be able to work in an office environment and be able to freely move within this space to utilize office equipment as well as interface with co-workers and customers.

Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, fax machine, etc.
