ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Classified Material Control Center Specialist to join our team in Stafford, VA. This is onsite position and some travel maybe required.
The Classified Material Control Center Specialist will implement an Industrial Security Program in accordance with the National Industrial Security Operating Program Manual (NISPOM/NISPOM RULE 32 CFR) with a focus on the proper storage, inventory, transmission, shipping, and destruction of classified materials.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Process internal/external transactions of media, documents, and equipment through the Security Information Management System (SIMS) while ensuring that the account remains in an audit-ready status.
Responsible to ensure all classified material is 100% accountable, transported, shipped, labeled, and marked in accordance with local policies, DoD 5200, EO 13526, and NISPOM policies.
Responsible for SIMS accuracy and record data base management covering all classified assets.
Provide top-tier customer support and provide oversight on classified meetings or additional CMCC requirements throughout the campus.
Maintain the physical integrity for CMCC and secure work areas and implement the Classified Asset Management (CAM) Program.
Provide support to other security operations as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years’ experience in Industrial Security.
Experience in inventory control, records and data base management.
Experience in handling, marking, destroying, transferring, and shipping of classified material.
Experience in writing and implementing policies to include being proficient with Adobe Pro, Microsoft Office, Google Office, and SharePoint.
Must be a self-starter, well organized and detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks and assignments with little to no supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/work experience.
Experience using the Security Information Management System (SIMS).
Experience using the Defense Information System (DISS) and the National Industrial Security System (NISS).
Clearance Requirements:
Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
